This is a 19th-century historic residence, intimate and welcoming, featuring high arched ceilings and custom handcrafted wooden furnishings that are sustainable and designed in a minimalist pop art style, fully modernized.
Here, the charm of the past meets the present with a vibrant touch. It is a unique space full of character, designed to offer a relaxing and healthy stay—perfect as a base to explore Abruzzo, a region rich in history, castles, coastline, and natural parks.
The house overlooks Porta Pescara square, built in the 13th century, in the heart of Chieti’s historic center, which is full of services and museums. History tells us that the city gate was called Porta Pescara because it was the entrance used by travelers coming from the coast and the Pescara Valley. We chose to name the house “Agli Archi” (At the Arches), inspired by both the arches of the house and the city gates—unique and characteristic details.

The house features 1 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, a living room with a sofa bed (which can become a second bedroom), and a kitchen, arranged over two levels. Amenities include: 55-inch OLED TV with Ambilight, Air conditioners / heat pumps, LED lighting, Refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine, High mattress with topper, Fragrance-free hygiene products.
Every detail of the house has been carefully considered to optimize space, including the kitchen, which is fully custom-built. Each element has been designed to make the space functional and welcoming, even during a holiday stay.

Health & Wellbeing: Our commitment to being eco-friendly, allergy-friendly, and fragrance-free ensures a healthy and restorative stay. We pay the utmost attention to cleaning and products in every context—from renovation, where we used low-VOC materials, to daily cleaning, where we use only fragrance-free eco-friendly products.
Every detail is designed to minimize the risk of allergies and sensitivities, maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
Sustainability: We used wood and reclaimed materials, handcrafted and custom-built to furnish the house as sustainably as possible. Every material was carefully selected for its eco-friendliness, safety, and comfort, combining environmental responsibility with guest wellbeing.
Design: Each piece of furniture was chosen or custom-made to combine artisan quality, sustainability, and minimalism. We added touches of modern vintage to enhance the wooden furniture and real granite staircase, giving the house a unique and bold character. The result is a home with a strong, expressive personality.
